The Role

• Leading a small vinyl application team, issuing works orders, managing performance reviews and managing production to suit deadlines.
• Ensuring all installations are completed on time, to budget and to our usual high standards.
• Sign making, working with a wide range of substrates including Dibond, acrylics, metals, wood, vinyl and Foamex, to a consistently high standard.
• Application of vinyl onto a variety of substrates
• Interpreting briefs accurately with a great understanding of different signage and manufacturing techniques.
• Operate and maintain, vinyl cutters and laminators. (Zund)
• Operating large format digital printers
• Ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are understood and followed.
• Taking responsibility for your own and others’ health and safety when working.
• Assisting in-house production staff when required.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Print production, large format finishing, and sign-making.
• Advanced knowledge of flatbed cutting machinery and digital printing hardware.
• Previous experience leading a team or acting as a "Lead Hand" in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable.
• Flexible attitude to working time
