‍Company: A leading packaging manufacturer.

Role: Working in a factory environment, we are seeking a skilled Blown Film Extrusion Operator to join our client. In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art machinery to produce a range of high-quality films. 

• Operate blown film extrusion lines to produce a wide range of flexible films, following all quality control procedures and company documentation (including safety protocols and operational guidelines)
• Produce films by setting up and adjusting machinery as per production requirements
• Utilise touch screen controls to monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during operation
• Handle materials efficiently and ensure proper storage and organisation within the warehouse (following company policies and procedures)
• Communicate clearly and consistently with team members and managers to support and optimise production process and workplace efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings and any issues encountered during operations
• Keen eye for detail and continuous product quality control 

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating blown film extrusion machinery is essential
• Experience working within a packaging manufacturer
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in the production process
• Happy to work shifts
